REGAL MODELS GLAMOUR WORKSHOP WEEKEND
A two day celebration of the art and technique of MODERN GLAMOUR
PHOTOGRAPHY featuring the beautiful models of www.RegalModels.com ,
guided by photographer James Creighton and the Regal Models photo team.
Two days of shooting beautiful models---One day in a cool downtown LA photo
studio and one day on location at a beautiful Beverly Hills mansion. Each
day will begin with a discussion of all aspects of shooting modern glamour.
Each afternoon we'll shoot, shoot, shoot ----some of the most beautiful
women on the planet.
YOUR GUIDE....Jim Creighton---In addition to shooting all of the gorgeous
Regal Models, Jim has shot with numerous Playmates, top models and TV
stars. His work has been published in PLAYBOY, MAXIM, FHM, STUFF, PEOPLE,
WWD, TV GUIDE and many other magazines worldwide. He has over 25 years
experience in working with, lighting, and shooting beautiful women.
THE MODELS---Each day you will have the opportunity to work with, learn
from, and shoot the beautiful models from RegalModels.com Models attending
will be announced soon. Each day will feature at least 2 well known
Playboy Playmates and several additional models on our location shoot.
THE PARTICIPANTS---The weekend is open to anyone with a serious love of
glamour photography......beginner or experienced. Each lesson will build
from basic concepts to more advanced techniques. Basic knowledge of
photography is required, but most important is the desire to shoot some
beautiful pictures.
THE GOAL---The first goal of the weekend is to have fun. This is Glamour
Photography not dental school. To shoot beautiful models and create some
great pictures. To learn new techniques and make new friends!
THE SCHEDULE---Each day will begin at 9:30 am with several hours of
discussion of the finer points of glamour photography. Afternoons will be
devoted to shooting. We'll break into teams of four or five and rotate
through a series of different lighting scenarios....shooting a variety of
different models.....all guided by Regal Models photographer Jim Creighton.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN---
Where to find inspiration and ideas.
How to assemble and work with your own photo team---model, photographer,
hair&makeup, and clothes sylist.
Working with models---tips on everything from the fine details of posing,
to how to interact with models on set to make them feel comfortable, to how
to evaluate each models strengths and weaknesses and shoot them to look
their best.
The different styles of glamour photography and how that influences your
choice of lighting, posing ,and styling.
The real inside stuff on how to shoot with your digital camera----not what
the photo ad's tell you, but what really works.
How to see and find good light. (The single most important skill for a
glamour photographer.)
LIGHTING, LIGHTING, LIGHTING----During our afternoon shooting sessions
we'll explore a wide variety of different lighting situations. We'll
introduce you to everything from simple, beautiful, natural light to
PLAYBOY style lighting, MAXIM style lighting, fashion lighting.... and
more. The emphasis is on how to do beautiful lighting quickly, easily,
and ON A LIMITED BUDGET FOR EQUIPMENT.
Bring your camera, your laptop if you can....we'll provide the stunning
models, the hair & makeup stylist, the clothes stylist, and photographer
Jim Creighton will provide some really bad jokes.
